Offering a scenic view of Silay City and beyond is the 25-meters high ferris wheel, the tallest in Western Visayas.
At the heart of the park is the colorful carousel or merry-go-round with hand-painted horses and a themed crown that will welcome visitors to the cultural zone.
Â
The food court and kiosks will also be open for the soft opening.
Â
Magikland mascot, Bakunawa , the mythical moon-eating dragon and the Magikland heroes are all geared up to welcome visitors.
Â
Entertainment shows featuring Negrense talents are also being prepared.
Â
The theming of the park is based on local folklore and legend.
Â
Being readied for the grand opening are the edu-tainment laboratory, a cultural gallery, coffee shops and restaurants featuring Negrense cuisine and delicacies, exhibits, retail and merchandise shops.
Â
Bantug in a media preview in July this year said the park will catalyze tourism in Negros Occidental and provide quality jobs and livelihood opportunities starting from the construction phase until its full operations when employment of more than 300 locals are projected.
